Winter Wonderland

Newest

Lately, I have turned into a traditional artist, but that doesn't mean there will be no more digital. Digital was my starting, and there is no lack of it. Although, most will probably be me coloring other people's.

It's Alright

Journal Entry: Sun Nov 15, 2009, 12:27 PM

I HAVE A DREAM: 10,000 PAGEVIEWS BY '10.
Whoever gets me a screen shot of 10k first, gets a full color picture of anything PG-13 and under. I don't do gore and pr0n. :/
ONE MONTH AND 500 TO GO~

The first 10 people who comment on this journal will get a feature!

I did this in :iconladysarah:'s journal, so I have to do the same thing in mine! Before commenting, please read these rules:

1) Be one of the first 10 people commenting on this journal entry, and I will add you to the Promotional List.

2) For each of the 10 first people answering this journal I will put his/her avatar and the three deviations I like most from his/her gallery on the list.

3) If you answer, you'll have to do the same in your journal, putting me on the first place, completing this way the list with 10 people. The idea of this is not to get a free feature, it is to spread art around for everyone!

1.):iconladysarah: An artist who's been on dA longer than me for two years, I was surprised she didn't have more pageviews! She's very talented in the traditional medias, but it seems no one knows. D: Please go visit the Lady with my name and see what you're missing. ;)

2.):iconalystar: Not only is her avatar awesome, but her art is too! Filled with gloomy to fun, I think she has something for everyone. With a unique coloring style, it's neat to look at all the different pictures she's made. With some interesting stories and characters, I think some more people should have a look~

3.):iconcolorcosmosflurry: A friend since I've been here, she's always up-beat and encouraging. More people seriously need to see her work, especially since she's been improving so much lately! Her work is varying, from animals to landscapes, and even people. The colors are always bright and cheerful, just like her. So, go pay her a visit for me~

4.):iconuber-bellz: Well, if she won't comment on here, I'll just feature her myself! This lovely artist is actually with me in my biology class. She cosplays often (something I dream of doing), and goes to anime conventions. Lucky.. Her style is very cute, and well, I guess chibi-ish. She does a very nice job on lines and coloring in. She has more copics than me D:

5.):iconashx89: Another fellow horse rider, who can also do a variety of styles. From Kingdom Hearts to Rorouni Kenshin (a manga I'm actually rereading for sword fighting poses [lawl] ), horses to friends, she's probably got you covered.

6.):icontakinagirl: While the first comment between me and her was on a sad day for me, her words really picked me up:
"Im glad that i clicked on random deviant... I really like your art, but i don't have alot on here, just some random stuff that I did in my spare time. I hope that someday I can be as good as you." As I'm sure most of you know Or should. :/ My motto is to DESIRE to INSPIRE before you EXPIRE. This really showed that I have started to fulfill my goal. The lady herself seems to be skilled in comic making and pencils. She has quite a few Sonic comics, which look entertaining (even though I've been out of the Sonic loop for so long Why does the fastest mammal have a freaking motorcycle?!

7.):iconbluefirex67: A somewhat new deviant, she reminds me of myself when I started. Well, about the massive gallery anyways. ;) I know people say, "Quality, not Quantity," but she's got both covered in my opinion. She has a good eye for photos as well as a good sense of writing. Be sure to check her out and give support~!

8.):iconadelaide24: Obviously skilled in areas of art I can only dream of, I envy her! From photography to sculpting small, yet detailed charms and the like. I'm actually taking sculpture in school, but I doubt I'd do any thing as cute or sweet as ~Adelaide24 can~!

Hullo all~

I've started watching FMA: Brotherhood and it's not too bad. It's not like I thought it was, another anime that starts with the manga and branches off. (although the old anime did explain things they left out in the manga somethings) It's severely close to the manga and it's good and a little annoying (because they kept the annoying parts I skipped over very fast in the manga). They got all the voices back except one or two I think, and they changed the style a little. It's not bad, it looks better too. I think the animation is smoother in fight scenes too, actually.

First semester has ended and tomorrow I get my new schedule for second semester. I'm not sure what classes I'll have when :/ In a way, I doubt they'll really change at all. I won't have German for sure until 3rd semester, so I wonder what will replace it.

Lately I've been using Livestream and recording drawing sessions to show you guys how I color and stuff. I've got about three clips of me working on Tony. If you'd care to watch.. :[link]

Go to the On Demand tab. If it only has seconds, don't bother. It's mostly I turned it on by accident or something. The ones at the top of the list are the more recent ones, and older ones are kinda tests and they freeze about halfway. Or go snail speed.

I was watching FMA: B and I looked on dA and someone had a picture of Ed, so I click on it and in the comments they had a link to the english version of Brothers, a song made by the FMA actors (Well, not really. The lady who plays Ed sings it I think.) But the english one is the english voice for Ed, Vic-something. I have never cried so muuch DD: Since I only had the Japanese version I had no idea what it was so I was just like, "Oh this is a pretty song~ lalala.. " But when I heard the english one and knew what they were saying ;-; and it was right after I watched one of the more emotional episodes too D: I tried to sing along, but I had to restart it like 5 times before I could talk normal... [link]
Non-FMA fans probably won't care, but it just struck home so hard because it really does sound like something they'd say to each other. And that's the only time I actually like English!Ed's voice :/ Oh, and does anyone know the first ending song for FMA: B? It's such a neat song but I can't see where it says who sings it.
